New Hemp Bread hits UK stores

A new relationship between the HFIA and another manufactured has now
sprouted!

Sunnyvale Bakeries new organic wheat sprouted bread with hemp has hit the
stores and the HFIA are proud to recommend the product for it's high quality
ingredients and novel manufacturing process.

This tasty bread is made using sprouted wheat and a process that involves
very little heat, providing a shelf-life of 6 months at ambient
temperatures! The bread contains over 10% of the hulled hemp seeds or hemp
nut (soft hemp seeds). It is also 100% organic, vegan, dairy free, with no
sweeteners, yeast or preservatives.

H.E.M.P.- Healthy Eating Made Possible - new book on hemp food and
nutrition - NOW available

Paul Benhaim, founder of the Hemp Food Industries Association and pioneer of
the European Hemp Food movement has completed a book about the holistic use
of hemp as a food. Benhaim explains how all the benefits of the hemp seed
and its by-products in a very practical way. As well as the use of hemp as a
food, the history and other industrial uses are touched upon. What is so
special about this book is how Benhaim shows the relationship between food,
particularly hemp seed, mind, body and spirit. As well as getting straight
to the heart of hemp and organic farming, the book diversifies into methods
of meditation, yoga, permaculture and other ancient traditions that are as
old as hemp seed itself! The book contains instructions from a practicing
Buddhist, the leader of the Permaculture movement, and various other guests.

Well, amongst all our work throughout the world we have managed to bring
you, in our usual form, some quality updates. This would not have been able
to happen without the help of Tony Hooper- our current webmaster, so big

How 'bout some music with your hemp?

    UK-based Hemp Foods Industries Association will make its USA debut as it
launches its updated website August 7.  Besides offering the finest hemp
food
products and hemp information books on a mail order basis to the worldwide
market, the company will also offer "The Hemp Song" as a $3 download to its
website customers.  The folk-style protest song was written and recorded by
American Sam Creigh, who hails from the state of Vermont and performs it on
the local music scene there.    Both HFIA and Creigh plan to use their
proceeds from the song to promote their endeavors and the repeal of hemp
prohibition throughout the EU and the

Hemp Plastic- Update

Our friends at Hemp Plastics (UK) Ltd. and Hemp Plastics (USA) Ltd. have
been patiently awaiting for their next stage of development to be completed.
Currently there is not much to report here, but you know where you will hear
about it first! What we can say is that 'various' well known car
manufacturers are working with and alongside Hemp Plastics to what will may
prove to be the biggest task the hemp industry has yet to take on. Hemp
plastic is supported by shareholders in Europe, North America and
Australasia. We hope their expertise and experience within the relevant
industries will show results soon. Hemp Plastics will soon be open for stage
