These additions to a large range of environmentally trendy hemp based accessories shows the affect that new softer and stronger hemp and cotton blends are bringing to the industry.

Europe stick proverbial fingers up to DEA
You may have heard about the recent troubles the DEA have been causing with their proposed 'zero-thc' for all hemp food and cosmetic products. The HFIA has ben carefully monitoring the situation and actively supporting fellow Hemp Industry groups around the word in offering the DEA a viable alternative to zero-thc. There are various guidelines being discussed and we all expect to come to some agreement soon that will a) not damage the hemp eating public's health in any way and b) not make the hemp industry a non-viable industry due to un-enforceable rules that are being created by lazy politicians (or are they very aware about the potentially damaging rules?)
Despite this situation (visit www.thehia.org for more info. or read the end of this newsletter for details of what you can do NOW) the HFIA has recommended a succesful UK based bakery to continue it's plan of exporting Organic Hemp Bread into North America. Sunnyvale Bakery already sell a range of more than ten of their 100% organic long-life breads throughout North America and felt that offering their Hemp variety was the next logical step.
"The addition of hemp to our organic wheat sprouted bread adds taste, texture and nutrition and has been a great hit throughout Europe. Why exclude our favourit American customers from this wonderful product?" states Mayur Shah, Managing Director of Everfresh Natural Foods.

9bar opportunity for North American distributor
Soon the HFIA will support the introduction of the 9bar, the world's most popular hemp snack bar into North America. The product that has brought a hemp snack product into nearly 1.5 million mouths. The formula for the tasty 9bar was invented by author and hemp specialist Paul Benhaim many years ago and has changed very little since its inception.
